The UNE/MerinoLink DNA Stimulation Project is a major genetics adoption program in the Merino sheep breeding industry, running from January 2018 to June 2022.
The 5 year project has been a massive effort involving UNE Julius van der Werf ; NSW DPI Tom Granleese ; SheepmetrixSally Martin ; MerinoLink Conference and Meat & Livestock Australia + all of the participants.
With the DNA Stimulation Project officially finished, the results showed significant genetic improvement for those that were actively involved in the project.
