Woolgrowers from across Australia were urged in January to donate a small sample of their natural fibre to be turned into Australian Merino cloth for Price William on his wedding day. Bella Lana was proud to take part in the “Wool for a Prince” initiative. The gift was a fitting gesture of thanks after Prince William’s father, the Prince of Wales initiated the five-year Campaign for Wool last year.
We were particularly pleased to have received a certificate and letter signed by Prince William, thanking us for our involvement in the gesture. The certificate of thanks will be proudly framed hanging in the “pool room”.
